Ray Sexton (owner) started painting at the age of 16 after school and during summer breaks.
After high school, he attended Tennessee Wesleyan College where he began working with a commercial painting company over holidays and during summer break.
After college Ray went to work with Whittle Communications as a Client Presentation Specialist but became unemployed at the beginning of Whittle's downfall.
Not one to sit around waiting for the next "good thing", Ray reached out to the commercial painter he worked with during college and remained with them until they closed their doors in 1989.

Rayco recently did a full exterior paint job on our Oakland bungalow. We are more than happy with the results; extremely professional, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication all the way. A big plus is that they also do all the necessary wood repairs. They had already painted three of our neighbors' houses with great results, so we felt pretty confident selecting them and were not let down.
