Founded in 2005, Ellen Ryan Decorative Painting focuses on working closely with interior designers, architects & clients conceiving & creating exceptional finishes and specialty wall treatments. Ellen learned her craft in San Francisco working for Willem Racke Studios and had the opportunity to work on many exclusive, cutting edge residential & commercial projects, this platform gave her the knowledge and experience to open her own company.
Each project is tailored to the clients specific needs, taste and budget and is executed with the highest level of professionalism and skill. She and her workman refinished an old family pump organ and two bedroom sets for us. Ellen taught me how to successfully sand and repaint old furniture and woodwork. Our family will enjoy the results of her artistic skills and amazing attention to detail for generations!

She spent only a short time understanding my likes and dislikes and seeing the overall colors of my furnishings, after which she made recommendations on treatment and colors.
