I would like to introduce myself and my company in hopes of doing business and becoming good friends with you. My name is Tom Wright and my company is Wright Custom Coatings & Finishes. I have been in the painting trade since 1981 starting out and remaining with Jack Kraus Painting until 1999. I worked on my own for a while and then joined Concannon Painting.
Shortly after the unexpected death of the owner, Jim Concannon in 2005, I started my own company. My staff and I have worked on many high-end residential and commercial jobs in Northern Michigan. We have completed many residential homes as well as several homes for the Parade of Homes, interior and exterior. As well as painting, we do log and wood restoration, decks, floor coatings and wall coverings.
We are certified in lead renovation and certified in working with Sikkens, Zolitone, Multiflec and Illuminations. We are licensed and insured. We also have a large heated finishing facility to work on trim, doors, cabinets, etc. If you have a need for any of our services, please.

I was born and raised in the outskirts of Traverse City and began painting in 1982 with my father, who retired after 46 years of employment under J.W. Krause, Inc.where 20 of my years were spent in the painting business.
I then befriended and worked for Jim Concannon, until his death in 2005.
With inspiration from both of these companies, and the years of experience I have, I proceeded to build my own company, and have a crew of painters that I have worked with and respected for many years.
