John White Painting
Experience residential painting at its finest. We can partner with you on a superior new construction or home remodel project, whether it's breathing new life into your walls, refinishing kitchen cabinetry, or applying faux finishes and glazes. Don't just take our word for it, request testimonials and talk directly to the clients and contractors who rely on our premium, hand-crafted work.

We are not a fly-by-night company. We rely on word of mouth referrals and keep the lines of communication open to deliver the smoothest customer experience possible. Don't settle for an average painting contractor. John White Painting will guide you through every step of the process from the initial meeting and color consultation to performing the work to finishing the job and making sure you love the end product.

We know communication is key, so we'll keep you informed about the status of your project at the end of each working day. In addition, we take pride in cleanliness, making sure to take extra special care of your remodel space.
Services
Since 1945, the White family has been painting in Omaha.
Three generations of craftsmanship is a tradition we're very proud of.
What began with painting barns and residential exteriors quickly became quality commercial and industrial painting, which led to paper hanging, and then to the upper-end residential painting that has become our niche.
But while the market niches have evolved over the past seven decades, the commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the uncompromising delivery of a fulfilling customer service experience we uphold has remained the proverbial bedrock upon which this business has stood.
Partner with a painting contractor that will exceed expectations and impress your clients.
It is no longer enough to just get the job done well.
We specialize in a smooth, professional process that keeps everyone informed on progress every step of the way.
Get the peace of mind that comes with knowing the painting portion of your project can be handled independently.
We can work directly with your clients to accomplish the job, freeing you up to focus on other trades in the process that need your attention.
John White Painting, Inc. (JWP) is one of Omaha's premier residential painting companies, specializing in upper-end residential new construction, remodels, and custom cabinetry finishes.
In 1948, Dave's son, John, has continued the White family painting legacy under John White Painting, Inc., and is committed to producing the finest painting finished products and providing the best client experience.
With a professional, but collegial shop culture-a place where conversation seamlessly flows from work to weekend plans and back again, a place where everyone in the company cares about your growth in the industry-JWP is fully invested in its employees, offering advancement opportunities, new facilities, lettered trucks, work apparel, excellent benefits, and highly competitive, experience-based pay.
At JWP, we believe we are craftsmen, not laborers.
We believe in the physically-demanding, intellectually-rigorous, personally-humbling and yet absolutely spiritually-fulfilling reward of learning, honing, and mastering this craft.
We believe in and endorse the search for innovation in methodology, products, and tools.
We believe in empowering colleagues with the confidence, skills, and tools to accomplish each project.
If this sounds like you, and if you're ready to begin a fulfilling career at one of Omaha's most established and elite painting companies, apply to join our team!
Just in time before the weather took a turn for winter, we were able to finish this portion of our SpencerWorks traditional wood storm window retrofit.
But first, we had to prep the original wood brick moulding, exterior jamb, and sill.
After sanding and scraping all loose paint, and patching with Abatron WoodEpox, we primed the entire casing and sill with Mad Dog Primer's DuraPrime latex primer.
We went with this product because of its glue-like properties that hold down peeling paint, and because the product never fully cures, which allows the primer and top coats to "ride" with the substrate as the seasons change (in the summer, when wood products swell, and in cold seasons when wood shrinks, the primer does not crack).
