Michelle received her B.S. in Art Therapy from the College of New Rochelle. Master Peace Painting was established in 2000 to offer faux finishing with a commitment to integrity and to raising the quality of the craft. Since 2002, Michelle has pursued intense training in the decorative arts from some of the finest international artists, including Pierre Finkelstein, Sean Crosby, Pascal Amblard, Michel Nadai, Nicola Vigini, and Robert Marx.
Michelle uses the patented Faux Effects system, developed for decorative artists as an alternative to oil based products. The Faux Effects line, a latex based product, is much more environmentally friendly and yet has the qualities of an oil paint, making it perfect for decorative painters. Michelle is committed to continuing education and staying abreast of cutting edge finishes, trends, and products.

Referred to as decorative painting, we combine the field of faux finishing with fine arts.
Master Peace Painting offers an incredible array of surface finishes including glazing, Italian plasters, Venetian plaster, lime washes, sandstone plaster, faux suede, embedded glazes, stenciling, metallic plasters, gilding crackling, distressing and aging, color washing, marbling, faux wood graining, faux oxidization, and verdigris.
We also specialize in murals, fine arts on canvas, portraiture, tin ceilings and backsplashes, hardwood floors, and French and Italian revival ornamental appliques.
