Services
Yet, so many companies require you to call and talk to a salesmen for even the most basic projects.
We're dedicated to help easing the process of your home renovations which is why we've provided some average costs for common projects below.
Please keep in mind that there are always variances from job to job.
Excessive preparation of surfaces in poor condition or scenarios that require unique and specialized coatings may increase pricing significantly.
The pricing below should provide a range that your project may fall within, but the only way to solidify a number for your specific project will be via an in-person estimate which can be scheduled here!
Legacy Painting achieves guiding our clients from start to finish with thorough communication, daily updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the duration of the project.
Consistency, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail are what allow us to continuously transform our customer's homes and exceed their expectations.
If you are a homeowner who understands the difference between DIY and professional painting, and require an honest and supportive staff, Legacy Painting will not disappoint!
Aside from it's visual appeal, a paint or stain coating plays another crucial role; protecting what lies beneath it.
A properly painted/stained surface should look great but it also needs to act as a barrier to harsh elements such as driving rain, ultraviolet sun rays, freezing snow, mildew, and temperature extremes.
When guarding your home from Mother Nature, your paint job is your first line of defense.
Certain parts of the U.S. experience much harsher climate conditions than others, including Massachusetts, which gets an annual average of 43 inches of rain and 50 inches of snow.
Pollen, dust, mildew, dirt, road grime, you name it.
If it can stick to your home or property, it will.
Fortunately the combination of eco-friendly detergents and a pressure wash can free most substrates from these common contaminants leaving behind a much more vibrant and fresh surface.
It is not uncommon to find that what appeared to be a faded paint job is really just a coat of dust and debris waiting to be washed off.
This can equate to thousands saved when compared to a full painting project.
Up until 1978, lead was frequently added to house paint to increase durability and opacity.
When intact, existing layers of lead paint pose little risk; when disturbed, chips and dust can be harmful if ingested or inhaled, especially by children.
The Environmental Protection Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards have adopted regulations to address the risk of lead poisoning.
These Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) regulations apply whenever the work of a builder, plumber, electrician or painter might disturb more than six square feet of lead paint inside the home, or 20 square feet of lead paint on the exterior of a property built prior to 1978.
