Proactive Painting

We just had the exterior of our house painted after replacing the roof top. Ray is friendly, professional and easy to communicate. His team of three workers provided a thorough and detail-oriented job with regards to caulking, sanding and two-layer of paintings. The preparation work before painting started actually took quite some time in order to get things right. The final result is impressive and commendable. We would not hesitate to recommend Ray and his company to anyone who needs a painting job.

Working with Proactive Painters was an absolute dream. From my very first interaction (requesting a consultation), everything was marked by thoughtful, responsive professionalism. Ray was detailed during the estimate - our house is old, was decades overdue for repainting, and needed a lot of prep. Ray told me exactly what he could and couldn't do, and explained why.

He told me what his contingency plans would be in case there was wood rot (and, when those plans had to be put into action, he personally made sure everything went smoothly). It was clear that Ray takes immense pride in his work, and views every job as a privilege. When it was time for work to begin, Ray would text each evening letting me know the names of the people coming tomorrow and what time they would arrive.

The crew was on time every day, were friendly, hardworking, and took care with our plants and fish pond. The paint itself looks incredible. The lines between trim and body are sharp; there is no overspray anywhere. While doing a final walkthrough, the foreman fixed areas that we hadn't even noticed. While Proactive Painters charged a little more than other painters I received estimates from, the extra money was more than worth it.

This is the first time a home improvement project has been a truly pleasant experience for me. The quality of work is fantastic, and the clear communication and care for customers sets Ray and his team a class above the competition.

Ray and his team were professional, courteous and a joy to work with from start to finish. Ray provided a quote early on, showed us options for paints and stains and did a beautiful job on both the inside and outside of our house. To begin moving into a newly purchased condo I needed to replace the carpet and have the living room and bedroom painted. The painting to happen first was my goal and I was also under a time crunch. Luckily, I found Proactive Painting. I met with Raymond the day after a call for an estimate and two days later Dave started painting. Raymond Gil and his assistant Jose painted the living area of our home including a challenging staircase and extra high ceiling that had been stained when racoons moved into our attic some years ago. I had a short window to get this done and Raymond responded to my Sunday night email, we had an estimate on Monday and he and Jose were painting on Thursday. Raymond is meticulous in his art. He used top quality paint and made our home look new again. I plan to have him back in the late spring for some exterior work on my balcony.

Raymond was also present on site everysingle day and made himself available.

His team was very professional and easy to work with. Finished the job quickly with out compromising the quality. Our home looks AMAZING! we have received many compliments from our neighbors.
