Born and raised in Iowa, Steve moved to Arizona in 1970 where he raised his two daughters, Amy and Emily, and currently resides with his wife, Sara in Chandler.
Steve graduated from Arizona State University in 1974.
He taught High School Business classes at Chandler H.S., McClintock H.S. and Desert Vista H.S. He officiated High School, Jr. College and PAC-10 basketball.
He is a member of the Arizona Chain Crew that work all the Arizona State University Football games.
His Chain Crew also works the Arizona Cardinals home football games.
