He continued painting through college where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas University in 1984.
Andy opened his first painting company in 1984.
In 1986 The Sherwin-Williams Paint Company offered Andy a position in their manager training program.
From 1986 to 2001 Andy managed stores in Kansas City, Arkansas, Wichita and Albuquerque.
During that time He acquired extensive training and product knowledge.

Stucco is a cement based coating that is troweled on.
There are also synthetic stucco coatings available now that are more flexible and these are usually applied with a trowel also.
The application with a trowel allows a texture to be created.
The cement based stucco will crack over time as the house settles.
Usually many hairline cracks develop over most of the surface with larger cracks showing up where the settling is more pronounced.
