Boyd Turner grew up in the Painting industry of California.
Boyd grew up napping on drop clothes and working every summer at his parent's Painting business learning the trade.
After a stint in the California Conservation Corps, Boyd decided to go out on his own and made his way down to San Diego where he settled in Ocean Beach.
Boyd went to work for several successful San Diego Painting Companies.
After seeing a real need for personal and customized painting in the San Diego Beach communities, Boyd took the California State Licensing exam and started his own company, Boyd Turner Custom Painting, in 1996.
