It would be rare to find any Greenville realtor who could claim more serendipity than David Painter of Keller Williams Realty.
His fortuitous happenstance began with the ringing of an unanswered phone in his office last fall.
A bit surprised that none of the other Greenville realtors had picked up the call after repeated announcements on the office intercom, David, though deep in preparation for a client appreciation event, decided to answer the blinking light.
Those simple words, uttered countless times, began his journey of a lifetime.
Some may call it pure luck.
But luck as they say, is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
And in late 2013, as I was preparing for a client appreciation event, opportunity came knocking, or in this case, ringing.
So, why on this particular day, having never once in 10 years and hundreds of "open house calls" at Keller Williams Greenville SC did I take the call?
I've always thought it was best to afford those opportunities to newer agents or those who may be struggling to build their businesses.
David is not exaggerating one iota.
I tend to give people challenges that no human could possibly achieve and little to not time to execute.
In this case David delivered 3-4 properties within the specifications I gave him.
The best part was that I could tell David was making mental notes regarding every positive and negative comment I made about each house to ascertain the granular details I was looking for beneath the nearly impossible generalities.
